PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
A fabulous example of an historic residence in all its glory, this magnificent property has been completely designed around its key feature – the Great Hall. Set within a wing of the property, the accommodation has been tastefully refurbished in a mix of traditional and contemporary style yet retains the grandeur befitting the seat of the eminent Williams Wynn family – one of Wales’s foremost aristocratic dynasties.
The estate’s parkland and gardens were landscaped by Capability Brown and also boast a communal tennis court and a five-a side pitch that our guests may enjoy.
ABOUT THE AREA
Wynnstay Hall’s great location allows visitors to easily explore the beautiful counties of Shropshire, Cheshire and Wrexham.
Llangollen, a world famous tourist attraction, attracting thousands of visitors to its classic Eisteddfod every year, lies approximately 5 miles away.
The historic city of Chester is less than twenty minutes by car or ten minutes on the train.
There are endless activities available within a 30-minute drive of the Hall, including white water rafting, go-karting, paintballing, golf, fishing, horse riding as well as numerous beautiful walks amidst some of the most stunning countryside this area has to offer.
Unfortunately, Wynnstay Hall does not accept stag and hen parties. Please check availability of our other properties that welcome such guests.
